GOALS
After working with the CEO to develop Pilea’s branding, they tasked me with art directing a photoshoot that fit the aesthetic and then create a series of video ads.

I only needed to speak to Pilea Founder & CEO, Taylor Robison, for five minutes before I knew exactly what look she was going for in the launch of her new plant retail business. “Earthy, artistic, natural vibes,” she said. So, I flew down to Florida and set up a backdrop in my parent’s backyard. Using morning light and natural elements found in the yard, I shot and edited product photos for her website along with a few family photos.

VIDEO EDITING and COPYWRITING
Responsible for video editing, copywriting, and caption creation for their first ad campaign announcing the launch of their online plant retail store. Using a combination of my photography with stock video footage, I aimed to create modern and eye-catching visuals that introduced users to the brand and told a story about the product in a unique way.
Logo & Branding
Responsible for concept and design of the Pilea Plants & Things logo and overall aesthetic. I wanted to create something that felt modern and organic, adding custom letter accents for a whimsical feel.
